Christmas Mini Sessions Shelly Fry Photography

I’m sitting at my desk, looking out the window. The leaves are yellow, green, orange, and red. My flowers are all gone, and I see Christmas lights that my husband put up on the studio last week.  It seems it was only a few weeks ago that I was in the garden picking tomatoes and having dinner out on the patio. As we move into this season, my mind is on Christmas mini sessions. It’s a big deal around here. When I was working in the garden this past Summer, I began to think about what I wanted the backgrounds to look like for this year. I ordered the frame for my giant wreath back in August. I found the backdrop for the studio in September, and it finally arrived last week.

I began marketing and opened up signups in mid-October. Last week I set up the studio backdrop, and I love the way it looks! It takes a significant amount of planning and organizing to host this day. As the time slots get filled, I get so excited to see who will be joining us this year. Some will bring their furry family members. There will be little ones as well as their adults.  I’m anxious to purchase the garland to create the wreath, but I have to wait on that. I’ve never made a giant wreath before, so wish me luck! Snacks will be purchased and the studio will be transformed into a beautiful and cozy Christmasy space for everyone to enjoy.

As of this moment, I have 4 more spots available. I would love to fill them up with you. If you click the link, it will show you all the details and the available time slots. If you like what you see, you can go ahead and get yourself booked.

Christmas mini sessions
Here it is! I had fun putting this together this week

Clayton Class of 2026

Class of 2026

In the midst of prepping for the Christmas mini sessions I am also taking senior and fall family sessions.

I was very excited about Clayton’s session. When you reach out to me about scheduling a photo shoot, one of my first questions will be, do you have a location in mind?

I’m proud of how well I know this area. When I learned that Clayton wanted an abandoned building urban vibe, but they didn’t have a specific location in mind. I was up for the challenge!

This location was also perfect because it was a rainy day. We had lots of overhangs to work with.

Clayton also requested a dark, moody vibe to go with his location.

I think we nailed it.

Thanks for stopping by friends! I hope you are enjoying your Fall!
