Still/Square

Still
89/365
As a photographer it is really important that I have the ability to hold still while taking a picture.
If I move my picture will be blurry and no one wants that…

One of the things I love most about photography is the freedom I have to move and explore as I’m looking for the next shot.  But then there always comes the time to hold {still} – thankfully it only lasts for a second and then it is time to move again 🙂

While I am taking pictures I am often moving, climbing, crouching, talking, bossing, thinking, adjusting and then when it comes time to press the shutter I need to be absolutely {still}!

Sometimes I am able to lean up against a building, rock, vehicle, tree…But without even thinking about it I have developed the habit of holding my breath when I press the shutter so that I can be as {still} as possible…

Square
90/365
I spent a good portion of Tuesday looking for {squares}…
It is when you are looking for something that you notice everything else…
While I just wasn’t seeing any {squares} I was seeing circles, rectangles and triangles everywhere…
I couldn’t see a single {square} anywhere!
Then I noticed my quilt…
It is covered with {squares} and the day was saved!
March – Month 3 Completed!!!
Unbelievably March is over! I have finished 3 months of my Project 365 and I’ve been blogging away for 3 months already.
April has been looming in my future for sometime…
It has quietly filled up with photography shoots and of course my show at Lava Java…
I am amazed at how often my phone has rang requesting photo shoots! I feel very blessed and excited to be on this journey!

Thanks for joining me!
