Thompson Family

I’ve mentioned that I love my job and I really, really do!  As a photographer in the gorgeous Northwest I get to enjoy the beauty that surrounds me but more importantly – I just love working with people!  The joy in my job is at a whole new level when those people are some of my dear friends! I have had the pleasure of watching their kiddos grow up right along with mine and while the years don’t match up exactly our kids are good solid friends and I love that!

In the next few weeks this beautiful family will be reaching some significant mile stones. Brooke graduates from high school and Kenzie graduates from college! Oh my momma heart feels for them! Such big steps! I’m so glad they took the time to have some family pictures! These two ladies have turned out beautifully! Mom and Dad should be VERY proud!

On Monday I rode 50 miles with this chick! I survived, I was happy I accomplished it and for about 40 or the 50 it was even fun.  But it left its mark! Needless to say 50 miles is a lot of {repetition}!!! I don’t plan on sitting on a bike seat for a few more days!  😯

One of my favorite places to find {texture}is in nature. There is never a shortage of beautiful things to photograph in the stunning Northwest. Just a short drive from my home in Battle Ground there are so many options for gorgeous parks! One of my challenges is to find new places to visit – not because there aren’t any – but because the ones I know are so fabulous I never get tired of them!

I’m excited to be doing a Graduate Session tonight! I will be shooting in a new location and I’m looking forward to it!!
