Mr. Tabor 1 year shoot – {Family Photographer Battle Ground, WA & Vancouver, WA}

Little boys just do me in! They seriously do damage to my heart! They make me miss my little guys so much I find myself with ideas of grabbing total strangers kids just to squeeze them for a bit!

Happily Tabor’s shoot was scheduled on a day where the weather cooperated beautifully! It was last Monday a week ago – and I find it difficult to believe as the rain pours outside my window…

Happily I was able to get some squeezes on with Mr. Tabor after he finished his big photo session. Tabor just turned 1 and with 4 teeth, spell binding blue eyes and golden hair he is just off the charts in cuteness! He loved the pumpkins and blocks I used for props. He was very cooperative and happily sat on his cute white chair and in my wooden box.  He even took a few wobbly steps for us.

What made this shoot special for me is that Jennika is a former student of mine! So fun to meet her handsome hubby and her sweet little one and to catch up with her!

Send all your cute little ones my way! This momma needs the hugs and smiles!!!

Last weekend was our second weekend in a row driving to Walla Walla. I had the joy of watching Ty play the guitar with a praise band Friday night and watching Josh play his in his final home game at WWU.  My heart was full watching my boys/men. I’m just so thankful!

But I am TIRED of driving to WW. So I’m staying put for awhile 🙂

Near Bonneville Dam in the Columbia River Gorge- These are the stairs we have to carry our bikes up and down when we ride this trail.

Friday’s prompt was {stairs}. I was sitting in the car on the way to WW stewing that I didn’t have my picture of the day when I suddenly remembered these stairs. My sweet hubby is so tolerant of me and my many, many stops.  😉

I think it is the {cool}est thing in the world to be driving in the middle of nowhere, with nothingness surrounding you and then suddenly come across land formations that are so unique and unexpected!

I love the Fall! The leaves, chestnuts, walnuts, colors, shapes…

We drove out to Palouse Falls Saturday afternoon and I wondered why on earth I had never been there before. I plan to go back when it’s not raining… Both the boys told me how they have swam down bellow at the base of the falls. Josh shared that he has sat at the edge of the waterfall… 😯  I explained to him AGAIN how Mother’s do not want to know these things…

Fall is such a gorgeous time to book family photo sessions! Its not too late!

I have just found a winery/farm in Brush Prairie that I’m excited to do a session at. Pomeroy Farm would be a fun place for a family shoot as well. I am scheduling into November at this point. I would love to get you on the calendar. Give me a call!

Please share this post. – I appreciate you all so much!
