Sieng Family {Family Photographer – Portland OR & Vancouver WA}

Those of us who have the opportunity to call the PNW home are blessed with beauty all around us! I absolutely love Fall here. And while it has been a wet one!  😯  I am so thankful that I was able to get every Family Session scheduled shot during our record breaking wet month of October.  I’m also very thankful to the families that were willing to juggle their schedules around the rainy days.

The beautiful Sieng Family was one of my families that had to reschedule and then reschedule again in order to get a dry day. They live near Lucia Falls along the Lewis River which is stunning during Fall colors! The railroad tracks run right behind their property and made a perfect setting for the Fall colors.

When I first met Michelle she asked if I photographed animals as well as people. Casually mentioning she has 3 dogs and a pig she would like to include in a family photo.

I had to admit I hadn’t had the opportunity to officially photograph a pig in my career but I was up for the challenge!

They made the decision to leave one of their dogs behind but as you can see these are GINORMOUS dogs! Goodness! It cracked me up that one was scared of the tiny pig named Eleanor – Which wasn’t the least bit impressed with me or my desire to photograph her… A bit of a diva I think…  😎

But when working with animals you take what they give you!  😆

I’m in love with the colors of Fall…

One of my favorite things to grow in the garden (besides tomatoes and pumpkins) are {hot} peppers. I love how colorful and prolific they are. It’s very rewarding! And it’s especially entertaining when teenage boys dare each other to eat them! 😆

I would have preferred a picture where I was up high shooting from a {high angle} but this was easier…  😉

Obviously no {baking} here… Just a picture of the lovely Ravins family overlooking the Columbia River. I look forward to blogging about their gorgeous session in Hood River soon.

I had all kinds of intentions to have time to bake yesterday but it didn’t happen! What did happen is I’m all caught up on my edits and all pictures have been delivered! Hooray! No small accomplishment! I have a huge job Sunday  on Sunday American Grown Flowers is hosting an event and I’m the photographer.  The contract requires a turn around time of one week so I needed my desk cleared so I could focus on that! It feels good to have delivered all the pictures to my families~!

Have a fantastic weekend!
