Summer/A Pop of Color/Where I Stand

Summer

Oh my goodness it has been a crazy busy weekend…
Which is a good thing!
{Summer} is here the weather continues to be perfect which means I get to take more photo sessions!

Friday I made a day trip to WW to photograph this lovely family…
They had one son who would be graduating from University that Sunday and the other son will be deployed to Afghanistan in a few short weeks and this was their opportunity to be all together as a family and have their pictures taken…
So I grabbed my mom and hopped in the car and we drove…
As the mother of two “men” I totally get the importance of those times when family is all together!
I’m so glad this family chose to spend some of their time with a photographer so they will have these images forever…

Family is a beautiful thing!

A Pop of Color

A {pop of color} adds so much to a situation…
Whether it be a flag indicating you need to slow down, watch out, pay attention…
Or some fantastic flowers against a stunning wedding dress…

Or the perfect pink shoes peaking out from under a gorgeous wedding dress…

Where I Stand
165/365

Yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph Ron and Renee’s beautiful outdoor wedding…
Everything was perfect! She was stunning, he was handsome, the sun was shinning, the flowers were blooming…
Well you get the picture…
And throughout this day I was constantly deciding {where I (should) stand}…
I didn’t want to miss a thing and I didn’t want to get in the way, make a scene, generally blend in while I’m running around trying to capture every sweet moment…

You can see in the above shot taken by my hubby (aka second shooter) {Where I stand} was at the back of the isle so I could shoot right up the middle…

But I don’t stay there I am moving all over the place to find the best angles…
