Senior Julia – Class of 2017 {Senior Photographer Battle Ground WA & Vancouver WA}

It was so fun working with Julia. It is an interesting process photographing people you have just met. It is my job to help them relax and feel their beautiful selves in a matter of minutes. So I can get to work and capture this exciting time in their lives. I met Julia and her mom April only a few minutes before our Senior Session.  I immediately knew this would be a great session.

She was friendly, open and confident – a breeze to work with. I appreciated how easily she trusted me and happily posed for the camera. I also LOVED her shoe selection! Super cute!

Julia’s adorable pup LuLu was also very cooperative which I always appreciate!  😎

Julia is thinking her future may include something in the medical field. She knows she is smart and she can do whatever she chooses and I think that is the most beautiful part of her!

Thank you Julia and Mom April for trusting me to take your Senior pictures. I truly enjoyed meeting you!

Lava Java –

Last Friday my landscape pictures were hung at Lava Java in Ridgefield. It was a huge relief to see them all hanging on the walls. I really wasn’t sure what order or even which pictures I would hang. I didn’t want this show to look like last years so I ordered pictures that had more variety. But then I worried that the pictures didn’t really have a theme and that it would all look chaotic…

Happily it all just worked out and I love the way they look. Today I was able to head up there for a short time. It is fun to hang out and watch people come and go. Some don’t even see the pictures, others glance, others stop and look. I enjoy watching regardless of their reactions. They don’t know who I am. Occasionally people make comments which is really fun for me.

I do hope you can stop by sometime this month. If you do I would love to hear what you think. 😀

The Sun rises and the sun sets {repetitive} everyday. Some days I’m lucky enough to enjoy it!

I’m sure there is some {glass} under that water. Gorgeous hike out to Cape Falcon with stunning views of the Pacific coast line. I love the Northwest and I’m thankful for the times I have the opportunity to explore it!!!

Have an awesome day!
