Play Ball!

collage

I really enjoyed hanging out with the Turkeys and the Reds at Prairie Baseball fields last week. They seem like such a fun group of young men who share a passion for baseball.

The opposite teams seemed to be friends and they were all having a good time.

I took a lot of pictures  so it took some time going through them all. I was at a bit of disadvantage not knowing the boys. It was difficult keeping track of who I had photographed – especially since they are all dressed alike!  😆 Another challenge was the dramatic changes in lighting! Super shady/cool light on the hitters and bright hot light on the outfield. But I enjoyed the challenge of working with my cameras setting to get things right.

So while this play was happening at 3rd I was completely focused on trying to get the shot. I heard the crowds excitement and I assumed it was about the play at 3rd. After I stopped shooting I dropped my camera and someone near by said “Did you get that?!” I was a bit confused it wasn’t that exciting of a play. Then the person said “the eagle and the rabbit, did you get that?!” Apparently as I was peering through my camera directly over 3rd base flew an eagle with a large rabbit in its grasp. And no I didn’t get it…  🙄

All of the pictures are up on my website you can click here www.shellyfryphotography.com and then choose the view and purchase pictures tab to find your gallery. Good luck teams!

I was fresh out of {knots} and felt like a smoothie so here it is!

So for those of you who may be new to my site I blog 3xs a week about recent photo sessions and life in general. In addition to that, I post my progress with Project 366 which is a photo challenge I am participating in. The challenge is to take a photo each day of the year and post it on Instagram you can see mine here. The point for me is to challenge myself to grow as a photographer. Most days I follow along with prompts provided by another photographer Bethany Deschamp her stunning website is here.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you return!
