17/365 {Leading Lines}

I’m a cheater…but I’ve decided to allow myself to be a cheater when it is justifiable…at least in my mind…

Saturday’s photo assignment was leading lines…I was actually excited about the challenge.  I pictured myself grabbing my camera and wandering looking for a new picture…but it was POURING rain all day and happily we ended up with unexpected plans which kept us busy all day.

In photography leading lines are naturally occurring lines found in the frame of your picture. Lines that draw your eye to the subject or simply into the picture.  The above picture taken at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge is a perfect example of lines of the road pulling you into the picture giving the picture depth.  So while the picture is perfect for leading lines, I cheated because I did not take it on Saturday…But as I said I’m OK with that 🙂

This is Tucker.  We hung out at his house Sabbath afternoon.  He LOVED Tyler! He is a very sweet boy and very good at relaxing! Love his crossed paws…

RELAX

Sunday can be a VERY relaxed day around our house…This Sunday there is some tension…We are Seahawk fans and there is a BIG game on today.  If they win today’s game they are going to the Superbowl AGAIN and that is very exciting for this household {especially my 17 year old}

So I’m counting 3+ hours in front of a TV yelling at the refs as “relaxing” although I think my men might disagree…
OK, I was wrong.  I wrote the above post before the game…and it was anything but relaxing…it was in fact STRESSFUL!!!!
Oh and by the way, in case you missed it — we are going to the Superbowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then a dear friend popped over just to share some of her yummy homemade bread and I relaxed with a yummy slice and a hot cup of tea 🙂
