What I did today/Green

What I did Today

75/365
How to take an interesting picture of {what I did today}?
I tried to take a picture of grocery shopping…Not easy to do…
Some of the other activities I did on Monday…
  • making the bed
  • doing the dishes
  • a load of laundry (I’ve already taken that picture)
  • mailing a package
  • a trip to the bank
  • getting permission forms notarized
  • a parent meeting…
It would be an interesting picture if we could truly capture ALL of {what I did today}

We do a lot during the day and they simply are not picture worthy OR you would feel really stupid taking a picture of any of the items…

So I was walking through the kitchen and I noticed the morning light on my tulips…
I needed to practice with a lens that I will be using for a wedding soon…

So I took a picture of a tulip on Monday and that became my {what I did today} photo.

Green

Living in the NW there is no shortage of {green}…
I love how {green} and lush it is around here…

Some people like or even prefer desert…
I don’t understand those people…
I also don’t understand people who don’t like chocolate…
It’s simply inconceivable to me!

But back to {green}…
I went outside and took a few shots of my budding lilac bush…
Expecting to just see the tiny buds of {green} I was thrilled to see the tiny buds of purple emerging!

Of course I assume the motivation behind Tuesday’s photo prompt was St. Patrick’s day…
I’m not a big fan of St. Patrick’s day…
I assume it’s because I’m not Irish…

Yea, I’m just not into a “holiday” that involves getting pinched!
I prefer the ones that center around chocolate!

In other news…

I’m working hard on pushing through my fear and getting everything ready for my photography show the month of April at Lava Java in Ridgefield…
