Oh the things I do for a picture…
I will start at the end…
See that yummy piece of homemade bread slathered in homemade jam?
I threw it in the trash after taking this picture…
I toasted, buttered, jammed it all up…
Found one of my prettiest plates…
Choose a sunny location…
Stood on a chair to take the picture…
All so you could see what was {on my plate}
Then I threw it in the trash…
Why? Because even though I could make it look pretty it was an old and stale. 🙂

I often feel like I’m the mouse in the the book “If you give a mouse a cookie”…
One thing leads to another, which leads to another….
When I saw the photo prompt {metal} I was utterly uninspired…
I briefly considered driving into PDX to take a picture of some of the sculptures there, but since my last parking ticket I feel I can’t afford to miss another “clearly marked sign”…
I had several errands to run today one was in Ridgefield. I needed to talk with the owner of the coffee shop where I will be displaying (hopefully selling) my pictures during month of April (more on that later)…
I arrived at the coffee shop before she did and had some time to kill…
My mind was still wrestling with {metal} and then I remembered that not far away, there is a dead end road that leads down to the river. Its down a pretty good hill – which I remember well because sometimes my husband makes me ride down it (which means I have to ride up!) At the bottom there is a really cool {metal} train bridge…
I decided to head over there…
The first thing I noticed was the addition of a yellow gate and about 30 “danger” “no tresspassing” “keep out” and “no parking” signs…
But I didn’t think they REALLY meant it since I could easily walk around the gate…
I did wonder how much a trespassing ticket was…
And yes, I did see the “clearly marked” No Parking sign….
But I got the picture! 😉
