SFP Website!

Here it is! I’m so excited to share my new website with you today! This has been a HUGE step for me as I journey forward as a small business owner! So today’s blog will be short and sweet!  Take some time to look around my website.  I would love any feedback you have regarding the site! On the Contact page there is a place to email me – or you can always comment at the end of this blog.  Either way I would value any input you have.

I was feeling a bit scattered with my blog, FB, Smug Mug, Instagram all at different locations.  Now all of that can be connected from here! I also knew that having a website was an important step in getting more exposure and more business. Frankly, I was intimidated to take this step! Thankfully, I found an excellent web designer in Dotty Scott of Premium Websites.  I was able to meet face to face with her which was really important to me.  She worked quickly, listened to what I wanted and was just really great to work with!

So now all you have to do is type shellyfryphotography.com (no more blogspot) and you will find my blog, portfolio, pricing, contact info and a link to my Smug Mug gallery.

With the garden producing 6-25 zucchinis per week I’ve been kept busy trying to keep up with them. {Homemade} zucchini muffins is one of my favorite ways to make good use of those zucchinis.

Sometimes when I’m out and about with my camera and I stumble upon a scene like this one I truly feel like it is a gift from God. Everything had to line up perfectly for me to be in the right place at the right time with the right equipment.  As I was facing this scene the Pacific Ocean and all her glory was at my back.  As I was walking along the trail the ocean had my full attention with all her wave crashing and power. I could have so easily walked right by and never known this peaceful moment was happening to my right! This moment, with this {light} only lasted for minutes and then it was gone.  Because of the nature of {light} and all the conditions that have to factor in to this scene it may not have happened again for days or weeks.

I ordered this picture on aluminum and it looks amazing! It will be hanging up (and for sale) in my new office/gallery which will be opened next week! So much happening!

When I order a picture and decide to sell it I have to name it.  Without a name the picture is difficult to keep track of, you are constantly describing it and it is just so much easier to give it a title.  Naming a picture can be challenging. I have been mulling over possibilities with this one – {light}, Golden, Good Morning… But I think I have just settled on “Gift”
