Beneath My Feet/Faceless

Beneath My Feet

This prompt made me think about what things were {beneath my feet} in a day…
dirt, floor, carpet, asphalt, concrete, grass, bike pedals, gas/brake pedals, sand, gravel, bark chips, water…
Sometimes if I’m lucky an exciting path or unexplored road is {beneath my feet}….
Or white sand beaches and warm waters…
But lately my feet have spent a lot of time in the dirt of my garden….
All this heat is producing some wonderful things in my garden!
Already I have gorged myself on raspberries and peas and here come the zucchini and squash as well as cucumbers!!!!

Faceless

{faceless} – is kinda creepy if you ask me…
I was literally staring at my computer with the word {faceless} going round and round in my head…
What was I going to take a picture of? Even though I NEVER watch scary stuff I kept picturing some human thing without a face…YUCK!
I obviously needed a new mental image!
I had just taken a picture of the moon and for some reason that sounded right to me….
Until I thought about the expression “man in the moon” or the “face of the moon” and even though there isn’t a face on the moon {faceless} many people identify a face with the moon…

I also had the opportunity to take a picture of gorgeous Mt. Hood…
Which technically doesn’t have a face {faceless} but many people would refer to the face of the mountain…

I could take a picture of someone who’s face was hidden….
But I was alone and didn’t feel like stalking anyone with my camera…
So as I sat there staring at my computer I glanced up and saw a poster Joshua bought for me for Mother’s Day and alas it was {faceless}!!!!

Happy 4th of July weekend everyone! Enjoy your family, enjoy America, and be safe!!!!
