I get bored really quickly. I try not to! I try to live in the moment, savor the experience… and sometimes I’m successf_ul with that. But more often than not I’m thinking ahead to what is next.
One of the things I love about photography is the variety found in clients, locations, subject matter. This month I have found lots and lots of variety! I have done Senior sessions, graduations, professional head-shots, a real-estate shoot, two different events as well as a wedding and I love it!
I love meeting new people, making new friends, being part of happy exciting times in people’s lives and having the opportunity to capture those happy moments for them.

It’s fun being a photographer because it is you job to get yourself in position for the best views of whatever you are photographing. But the actual taking of the pictures is only a very small part of being a photographer! After the event is over and everyone goes their separate ways the photographer spends hours sorting, editing and preparing the pictures. So {my view today} was going through the pictures I had taken over the weekend. Checking for closed eyes and distracting backgrounds. Choosing the best and deleting the rest. It is a multi step process that takes hours. 😛

Sometimes I see prompts like this one and I wish I had the time to run to the Gorge or hike up a mountain, or fly in a plane. But today all I could do was wander out to my garden and take some shots {from above} of what is growing out there. 😉

I have the best kids! I love it when they indulge me! I needed to photograph {peace} and again I didn’t have time to go wander and find a peaceful scenery shot. So I asked Ty to pose and he did. 😀 Lucy was just running around in the background as usual!

No surprise that my favorite {animal} is Lucy! She doesn’t mind posing for me either which is AWESOME! She’s so cute! 🙂
